Logos for Veloz Group
Brief
In the summer of 2013, I interned at the Veloz Group, Inc. in Los Angeles, a collection of startup companies under one umbrella. As part of my responsibilities as the lead of design, I had to oversee the design improvements on the logos of some of the portfolio businesses.
Process
I've created a handful of logos, and delegated some to my design team of 6; all of these were finalized upon my approval.
Result
Not all logos were immediately put in use, but this was one of the earlier tasks in the summer and allowed us to exercise our creativity, and most importantly, allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the capabilities & imagination of my design team, so that I could best delegate the later tasks in the summer (such as designing cigar bands).
Meanwhile, my magnum opus during this internship was building the UI/UX for an online ordering tool.
