UX & UI Design
Custom Tobacco

Brief

In the summer of 2013, I interned at the Veloz Group, Inc. in Los Angeles, a collection of startup companies under one umbrella. As part of my responsibilities as the lead of design, I had to oversee the design & UX of the new ordering interface for one of the portfolio businesses: Custom Tobacco.

Process

I met with the founders to identify distinguishing areas they want their users, and then acquired the major user-flows from the business team. I leveraged these in order to construct the new UI, first as low-fidelity wireframes, and later (after some iterations with the founders) in high-fidelity mocks.

Result

The design was well received and immediately forwarded to the development team to get started building a staged version. An early version went live within 2 weeks, and the full-fledged version was available in few months following the end of my internship.

Here are the samples from this project. Keep in mind that back in early 2010's skeuomorphic design was the strongest prominent design trend. Please inquire to get more details.
