2016
Deloitte Digital | Technology Consulting
At Deloitte Digital, I served in the Commerce & Content capability and was involved in various e-Commerce projects - spanning from early Discovery phases to final UAT and "Go-Live"s. I've served Fortune 500 clients such as a Major National Sport Association, a Global Medical Company, a Major Kids' Apparel Retailer, a Big-10 State University, a National News Conglomerate, and a Large Gas & Energy Provider.
+ Practiced Agile, Hybrid-Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
+ Lead Project Management Office (PMO), Office of Change Management (OCM), stakeholder interviews, capability mapping, and requirements gathering, scope sessions, and prepared Epics & User Stories.
+ Designed wireframes using AXURE, conducted User-Experience / User-Interface (UX/UI) heuristic analyses on a multitude of websites & applications at various clients.
2014
M.S. in Information Management | Syracuse University
I completed my Master of Science in Information Management at the iSchool of Syracuse University. The 2-year program is ranked #1 in it's field and provides an interdisciplinary approach to learning and understanding information technology.
My curriculum and projects focused on Database Management, Information Security, Network Design and Administration, Project Management, Risk Management, Structured Data Analytics and Visualization, Systems Analysis and Design, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
2013
The Veloz Group | Design & Front-End Development Apprentice
Veloz Group brought together multiple startups under one umbrella, so that they can all benefit from centralized resources. I had the unique opportunity of leading a Design team of 8 and personally presenting all major deliverables to the primary shareholders, along with communicating green-lighted designs to the software engineers.
I played a critical role in revamping the online presence of Beverly Hills Chairs, and launch an entirely new UI for the online ordering tool for the Custom Tobacco business.
2012
Vertical Solutions, Inc. | Marketing Design Manager
At this boutique Service-CRM software company, I was a one-man-army of all things marketing: anything and everything that reached our clients was ideated, created, designed, and developed by me.
I single-handedly re-developed the company website from scratch, implementing new CSS and JavaScript, and reduced excess navigation by 67%, while increasing average time on page by 217%, and boosting SEO. My digital marketing campaigns across media channels (email marketing, social media, and online advertising) increased email open rates by 8% and click-through by 3%. The social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin) increased in Followers by 183%, and Likes by 56%. Additionally, I produced webinars and videos for trade shows and the web, personally conducting all scripting, recording, and editing.
2011
B.S. in Business (Marketing) | Indiana University
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Business (Marketing) at the Kelley School of Business of Indiana University. I was also awarded the International Recognition Scholarship. Kelley is ranked #1 amongst public universities and #4 overall, and provided a transformative experience where I built a fundamental core - including finance, marketing, operations, strategy, and business ethics.
Once my core knowledge in business was established, I underwent a semester long "super-class" and tackled a real-life business issue with a team of 6, addressing everything from financial viability & ROI, inventory & distribution management, array of product mix placements-prices-promotions, and 5-year & 10-year strategic direction. Afterwards, I chose my specialization in Marketing and studied Brand Management, Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, Sales Management, and Creativity and Communication.
2010
Deloitte & Touche | Enterprise Risk Services (ERS)
During this summer internship, I conducted control tests by interviewing the client personnel at Fortis Investment. I took a specialized focus on employee account privileges, banking deposits, transaction receipts, and EFT & Swift reports; and documented the proof of findings in AuditSystem2 (AS2) and Excel.
I also developed an Excel-based talent scheduling system for setting up and dispatching ERS teams for client projects. As an internal extra-curricular activity, I volunteered at GLOBE, Deloitte’s diversity network for LGBT partners and employees.
2009
Microsoft | Server & Tools Intern
During this summer internship, I designed the localized Online Marketing Approach for the new "Windows Server 2008 R2" website for Turkey. I also analyzed sales trends of Windows Server products for the year 2008, and aided Microsoft “Partners” during events such as “Hotlabs”.
2008
Audi | Marketing Intern
During this summer internship, I created a Market Positioning Analysis by researching competitors’ advertisements in print and video. Additionally, I developed an improved inventory tracking system in Excel for Audi Accessories.
